April Sacred Friendships - In Person
Sacred Friendships discussions are the core of GIMA. These easy, one-hour conversations are for anyone interested in exploring the faith world of others. The purpose is to deepen our relationships and know each other, not just about each other. Each session focuses on a conversation topic led by two of our committee chairs, Betty Brandt and Rabbi Brett Krichiver. All are welcome!
Birth and Becoming
Across our traditions, birth can mean emergence, renewal, liberation, or awakening, but each of us carries our own history of beginnings. As we explore this theme, notice not only how your faith community understands the meanings of birth, but also how you have encountered beginnings in your own life. Is there something taking shape in you right now, in your identity, your relationships, or your sense of purpose? And where do your personal experiences align with or differ from the stories you've inherited?
