Sacred Friends - August

  • Zoom United States (map)

Sacred Friendships discussions are the core of GIMA. These easy, one-hour conversations are for anyone interested in exploring the faith world of others. The purpose is to deepen our relationships and know each other, not just about each other. Each session focuses on a conversation topic led by two of our committee chairs, Betty Brandt and Rabbi Brett Krichiver. All are welcome!

August
Humility

Humility is valued in many faith traditions, but people understand it in different ways.  Can you describe a time when humility changed your perspective, strengthened a relationship, or taught you something important?  How do you make the distinction between humility and other attributes like self-doubt, self-sacrifice, or staying silent when you should speak?
