Sacred Friendships
Sacred Friendships discussions are the core of GIMA. These easy, one-hour conversations are for anyone interested in exploring the faith world of others. The purpose is to deepen our relationships and know each other, not just about each other. Each session focuses on a conversation topic led by two of our committee chairs, Betty Brandt and Rabbi Brett Krichiver. All are welcome!
July Topic: Disruption in Faith and Freedom
Moments of disruption can become turning points. Whether in our traditions, our communities, or our lives, disruption can challenge what we believe and how we relate to one another. Across faiths, these moments often call for moral courage: the willingness to speak truth, to listen deeply, and to stay in relationship even when we disagree. What do these moments teach us about justice, faith, and freedom? When have you seen “moral courage” in your tradition or in your own life?
June 22, 1p with Rabbi Brett Krichiver, Betty Brandt, and a surprise guest facilitator!
