On September 19th from 10 am until noon, Allisonville Christian Church is hosting a Guns to Garden event. They'll be collecting unwanted guns, hosting a blacksmith on site melting them down, and transforming them into garden tools. 

It's an event aimed at getting more guns out of our homes and off the streets, so there are fewer weapons out there that can be involved in accidents and tragedies. It's also intended as an inspiring witness to the Biblical and moral imperative for addressing the gun violence epidemic that plagues our society.
