About this event
Hard-working Hoosiers are going without necessities, including food and medical care, just to keep a roof over their families' heads. Many full-time workers have found themselves homeless or on the verge of homelessness due to the increased cost of housing. Prosperity Indiana released a report in July of this year showing clearly that "Affordable Housing is Out of Reach in Indiana for Low-Wage Hoosiers as State Ranks Last in the Midwest for Renter Incomes."
At the same time, our federal government is tripling funding for ICE and setting aside $45 billion to build concentration camps for our immigrant friends, family members, and neighbors, including Concentration Camp Atterbury right smack dab in the middle of Rep. Jefferson Shreve's district. Billions and billions of our taxpayer dollars will be spent to terrorize our immigrant friends, family members, and neighbors.
Hoosiers demand we "BUILD AFFORDABLE HOUSING NOT CONCENTRATION CAMPS!!!"
