A multifaith call to end homelessness in Indianapolis
What Is It?
Streets to Home Indy is a community-driven campaign to provide permanent housing and supportive services for 350 chronically homeless neighbors in Indianapolis by June 2026.
Led by CHIP, this initiative builds on successful grassroots efforts and brings together faith communities, civic leaders, and philanthropic partners to create lasting change.
Why It Matters
Housing is a human right. 20+ years of data show that stable housing paired with support leads to upward mobility, independence, and public safety.
Homelessness is solvable—not inevitable —when we act together.
How It Works
This initiative is part of a $2.7 million communitywide commitment, with $270,000 coming from faith partners.
“This is a tangible, faithful step we can take together.”
— Rabbi Aaron Spiegel, Executive Director, GIMA
Let’s restore dignity, stability, and hope—together.
